The Challenge
Flamingo Group International is a leading supplier of high-quality plants and flowers who manage complex product launches that require careful co-ordination of resources, costing and timelines. They required a solution that could simplify and automate their new product development process, from initial concept through to market launch. To achieve this, they turned to PSP to design a custom VISION CRM system that would bring efficiency, accuracy and visibility to their operations, whilst being both windows and web based.
The Solution
The result was a custom Windows CRM system, tailored specifically for Flamingo’s Plants division, which centralised the entire product development process, automating everything from cost calculations covering manufacturing, labour, materials, packaging and shipping to project tracking. With automated calculations and real-time data, product managers could instantly see accurate cost breakdowns and make decisions faster.
The app also introduced a simple, user-friendly interface that guided teams through every step of product development. Built-in approval processes and project tracking features gave Flamingo greater visibility and control over each product’s journey. This meant smoother workflows and a much faster time to market, helping Flamingo respond quickly to industry demands.
The Outcome
PSP developed a bespoke vision application to meet the needs of Flamingo Plants, 7 years later we are delighted to have been commissioned to improve the application even further allowing it to be used throughout the whole business and also moving it from windows based to web based, the new extensive upgraded Vision application is expected to go live in February 2025 after 12 months of development in 2024.
